Job summary

Impression Digital Limited seeks a senior Technical SEO specialist to own and execute the technical SEO strategy across a portfolio of high-value client retainers. The role focuses on site health, crawling, indexing, rendering, migrations and performance optimization while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with client developers and marketing managers.

Qualifications

• In-depth technical SEO expertise across crawling, indexing, rendering, Core Web Vitals, site architecture and code-level optimisation.
• Experience leading end-to-end site migrations from scoping to post-migration monitoring.
• Proven commercial experience evaluating technical SEO opportunities and contributing to new‑business pitches.
• Mentorship and coaching skills to train junior team members in technical SEO principles.
• Strong stakeholder communication translating complex technical recommendations into actionable briefs for developers and marketing managers.
• Experience collaborating with department leaders on internal initiatives, tooling or workflows.
• Demonstrable experience across national or international markets on complex or high‑value accounts.

Responsibilities

• Technical Strategy Ownership: Own and support technical strategy across complex, high‑value client retainers—leading site health, crawling, indexing, rendering, migrations and performance optimisation.
• New Business & Pitching: Own the technical SEO evaluation for prospective clients during the new business phase and confidently present strategies in pitches.
• Mentorship & Team Upskilling: Mentor junior team members, lead internal training sessions and upskill the wider department.
• Process, Tooling & Agentic Solutions: Collaborate on strategic projects, tooling improvements and exploration of agentic AI solutions to automate workflows.
• Integrated Account Collaboration: Work within multi‑channel teams and communicate technical requirements to client developers and marketing managers.
• Thought Leadership: Develop learning materials and contribute to agency blogs and whitepapers.
