Job summary

Norwegian Offshore Rental AS seeks a Senior Technical Sales professional to drive growth from our Aberdeen office, owning opportunities from enquiry to contract across ROV, subsea, survey and tooling solutions.

You will develop Technical Sales Engineers, build strong UK contractor/operator networks, and ensure delivery is safe and profitable while meeting sales and margin targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of technical sales, sales engineering, or business development experience in offshore/marine sectors.
• Strong understanding of ROV tooling and subsea survey equipment is essential.
• Established contractor/operator networks within the UK subsea market preferred.

• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, equipment packages and commercial submissions.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through solution, quotation and negotiations to contract award.
• Grow business with new and existing customers across offshore, subsea, ROV and survey sectors.
• Meet customers through meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations; coordinate with operations and engineering.
• Train and develop Technical Sales Engineers and represent NOR at events; deliver sales and margin targets.

Job description

NOR is hiring an experienced Senior Technical Sales to drive sales growth from our Aberdeen office. You will own customer opportunities from first enquiry to contract award across ROV, Survey, Inspection and Subsea Tooling equipment. You will also help develop our Technical Sales Engineers. The role reports to the Commercial Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, equipment packages and commercial submissions for customer projects and tenders
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through technical solution, quotation and negotiation to contract award
• Grow business with new and existing customers across the Offshore, Subsea, ROV and Survey sectors
• Meet customers regularly through meetings, site visits, technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering and Rental so that what is sold can be delivered safely and profitably
• Train and develop Technical Sales Engineers
• Represent NOR at exhibitions, conferences and industry events
• Deliver on agreed sales and gross margin targets

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years' experience in technical sales, sales engineering or business development within the ROV, subsea, survey, offshore or marine industry
• Strong technical understanding of ROV tooling and/or subsea survey equipment
• Established network with contractors and operators in the UK subsea and survey market
• Proven track record of meeting sales and margin targets
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple opportunities at the same time
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
