At Fuse, we're building a fully integrated energy company, from developing solar, wind, and hydrogen to power trading & distributed energy installations. We sell directly to energy consumers, cutting out the middleman to reduce costs and pass on savings to customers.

We’re also building the Energy Network: a decentralised network of smart devices where users get rewarded in Energy Dollars for electrifying their homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours, and helping balance the grid.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a deeply networked and execution-focused Senior Technical Recruiter to lead backend engineering hiring at Fuse. This role is ideal for someone with strong agency experience placing top-tier backend engineers into hedge funds, high-frequency trading firms, or elite tech companies. You’ll work closely with founders, technical leaders, and hiring managers to shape our engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop tailored sourcing strategies to engage top-tier talent from hedge funds, trading firms, and elite technical organisations
  • Screen and assess candidates for both technical excellence and cultural fit
  • Run high-quality processes: drive pipeline activity, facilitate debriefs, and ensure seamless candidate experiences
  • Negotiate offers and close world-class talent in competitive markets
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs and timelines
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a heavy focus on backend roles in high-performance engineering environments
  • Agency background working with trading firms, hedge funds, or HFTs
  • Proven ability to identify and close candidates with niche, in-demand skill sets
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of an organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with ATS tools, reporting, and data-driven recruiting practices
