Senior Technical Recruiter
Location: London, Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles across all seniority levels, independently managing a 360 desk from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of exceptional tech talent in data engineering, software development, DevOps, and AI/ML.
  • Partner closely with technical stakeholders—Engineering Managers, Lead Engineers, Product Leaders—speaking their language to understand complex hiring needs.
  • Navigate competitive and resource-constrained markets creatively to attract top technical talent.
  • Drive recruitment innovation by implementing advanced sourcing strategies, robust technical assessments, and enhancing candidate experience.
  • Mentor and support internal hiring teams, sharing best practices to elevate recruitment capabilities across the business.

Challenges You’ll Tackle

  • Sourcing scarce technical talent in London’s competitive data and AI ecosystem.
  • Designing and implementing structured technical evaluation processes and hiring scorecards.
  • Increasing recruitment velocity while maintaining high hiring standards.
  • Optimising recruitment for hybrid work models, balancing in-person and remote interviewing.
  • Building inclusive hiring practices that attract underrepresented groups in tech.

What We’re Looking For

  • We’re looking for an individual who loves recruiting. Someone who loves finding innovative ways of finding the best, talented candidates. Some who sees recruitment as a differentiating success factor for scaling businesses.
  • 5+ years of technical recruitment experience with proven success in both agency and in-house.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage 360 recruitment desks independently.
  • Strong track record of sourcing and pipeline-building in bootstrapped and competitive markets.
  • Expertise with sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Hackajob, Welcome to The Jungle) and ATS platforms (Screenloop experience a plus).
  • Solid understanding of tech stacks including Python, React.js, AWS/Azure, and data tools like dbt, Airflow, Snowflake.
  • Ability to conduct structured interviews and technical assessments.
  • Familiarity with software development practices, agile methodologies, DevOps culture, and AI/ML concepts.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior technical leaders.
  • Strong project management skills to juggle multiple searches simultaneously.
