Location: Watford/London

The Role

As a Senior Technical Project/Program Manager, you will report to the Programme Director/Program Sponsor, working closely with Technology, Project, and Business teams to ensure high-quality deliverables, maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships.

You will collaborate with project planners, BAs, developers, and third-party suppliers to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities include finalizing deliverables, creating scope, gaining technical approvals, tracking progress, and managing risks and dependencies.

You will adhere to in-house project lifecycle and quality standards, working across functions to ensure project components are in place with a focus on change control. You should have an eye for detail, be innovative, and capable of driving activities forward using modern tools and technology.

Your Responsibilities

• Maintain multiple project plans in collaboration with project planners and workstream leads.
• Manage interdependencies and provide management reports for complex projects.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for planning standards.
• Support the creation of programme and project documentation, including MI reports.
• Utilize MS Office tools to quality check project plans and generate reports.
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure plans comply with governance requirements.
• Organize and facilitate planning workshops.
• Perform quality assurance checks on project plans.
• Support programme audits and assurance activities.

Your Profile

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Document Management solutions, ideally moving from Worksite to SPO/Power Platform.
• PRINCE2 / PMP certification, with proficiency in MS tools. Engineering/IT background preferred.
• Expert MS Project planning skills supporting large, complex projects.
• Strong MI tooling skills, including PowerBI and Excel.
• Excellent stakeholder management at all levels.
• Highly organized, proactive, and innovative.
• Understanding of programme and firm objectives.
• Knowledge of project management approaches and problem-solving skills.
• Effective team collaboration skills.
• Experience with large transformation programmes and resource management.
