Overview

Mastercard’s Employee Access Management program provides end-to-end services supporting physical and digital access for internal employees to Mastercard systems and applications.

The Role

Deliver major projects and complex assignments with broad scope and long-term business implications. Conceptualize, rationalize, and drive multiple simultaneous projects within our scrum execution model. Contribute to strategy and design choices to build comprehensive, believable, and achievable execution plans for new features and capabilities. Drive execution of features or projects spanning multiple teams and integrations, reporting status along the way. Collaborate with senior leadership to track and report multiple streams of work.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clear communication with executive leadership.
  • Ability to multi-task and track several projects simultaneously.
  • Experience running Scrum of Scrums.
  • Proficient with Agile workflow tools, especially JIRA.
  • Manage scrum teams to build, operate, and maintain software meeting business needs.
  • Results-oriented, with clear communication of objectives and success metrics.
  • Develop and drive team delivery metrics using in-house and vendor tools.
  • Act as Scrum Master / SAFe agilist, leading all ceremonies.
  • Implement Scaled Agile Framework or other Agile methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of platform capabilities and underlying technologies.
  • Proven data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Effective at debating delivery strategies with various stakeholders.
  • Communicate with impact and authenticity to executives, peers, and staff.
  • Guide, mentor, and coach teams on Agile Scrum, SAFe, and TDD principles.
  • Remove impediments with urgency or guide teams in doing so.
  • Create a trusting, safe environment for problem discussion and resolution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across locations.
  • Maintain awareness of team deliverables and the big program picture.
  • Present project information and metrics for leadership review.
  • Coordinate automation, defect metrics, and quality initiatives.
  • Recommend strategic directions, improvements, and policy changes.
  • Address operational and business concerns related to future programs and projects.
  • Lead project/program management activities concerning cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Own collection and reporting of platform metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of multiple software development concepts and methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, able to work under pressure, with high initiative and self-motivation.
