Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner for SAP Logistics in Hatfield, UK. You will own SAP Logistics strategy, roadmap, and delivery, collaborating with stakeholders across Technology Office and GIS to shape platform direction and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap and ongoing development of the SAP Logistics product landscape.
• Work with stakeholders across Technology Office, GIS and the wider business to identify priorities and shape future platform direction.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for deployment, adoption and service evolution.
• Define and maintain standards, policies and procedures for the design, build, test, implementation and use of SAP HR solutions.
• Lead the delivery of investments, initiatives and continuous improvements, ensuring they meet agreed time, cost and quality expectations.
• Drive product planning activities including backlog prioritisation, user stories, EPICs and delivery coordination.
• Oversee solution design, build, testing, implementation and transition into production.
• Ensure services operate effectively, with a focus on resilience, performance, service levels and value for money.
• Manage third-party providers and support strong operational governance across the service.
• Provide leadership to teams and partners, helping to build capability, alignment and delivery focus.

Life on the team

You’ll join the SAP Product Management team within GIS, where we are responsible for the strategy, development and ongoing performance of key SAP platforms that support core business services. This role focuses on SAP Logistics and works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and partners to ensure the platform continues to meet current needs while supporting future priorities. It’s a varied role with a strong mix of product ownership, stakeholder engagement, governance and delivery oversight.

• Strong SAP Logistics platform knowledge and an understanding of product ownership within an enterprise environment.
• Experience developing product strategy, roadmaps and service improvements.
• Knowledge of delivery and service frameworks such as ITIL, SAFe and DevSecOps.
• Ability to balance multiple stakeholder priorities and translate business needs into practical outcomes.
• Strong project and delivery management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in customer- and user-facing environments, including presenting, influencing and managing competing priorities.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to support teams across a matrix organisation.
• Strong organisational skills, problem-solving ability and a focus on service excellence.
