Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Basingstoke seeks a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead a team of Technical Product Managers and act as the product expert for a defined product range. You will provide technical support to the UK & Ireland Aftersales market and guide engineering development through coaching and mentorship.

Reporting to the Director UK Technical Operations, you will travel as required to customers and sites, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and digital systems

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware and software integration projects.
• Direct people management and coaching experience.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and digital systems.
• Willingness to travel within UK and overseas.
• Ideally HNC level in engineering or science.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technical Product Managers and act as product expert across defined product ranges.
• Provide technical support to UK & Ireland Aftersales and liaison with engineering teams.
• Coach and mentor engineers to develop technical competencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements.

Exciting Career Opportunity as a Senior Technical Product Manager at Linde Material Handling in Basingstoke. Join Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, and become part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Reporting to the Director UK Technical Operations, leading a team of Technical product managers, you will act as 'product expert' across a defined range of our products to provide technical support to the KION / Linde Material Handling UK & Ireland Aftersales market. You will support engineer development through coaching & mentoring.

• Demonstrable experience in all current systems, features and technologies associated with our product ranges.
• Demonstrable experience of playing a key role in delivering integrated engineering projects including hardware & software configuration and fault analysis.
• Direct people management skills & experience - target & objective setting, performance management, communication soft skills, coaching and mentoring etc.
• Experience in working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & digital systems.
• Experience in materials handling technology
• Ability to propose design modifications to electrical equipment to suit specific needs.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
• A team player with a flexible approach to working.
• Able to travel within the UK and overseas, as required, on company business as and when required.
• Ideally qualified to HNC level/equivalent in engineering or science.
