Job summary

Simply Business is seeking a Senior Technical Pricing Analyst to lead our MGA pricing strategy from our London hub. You will drive high-frequency data analytics with modern techniques, mentoring juniors and collaborating with underwriting and data science to turn insights into live market decisions.

You will own analyses, build robust models in Python/R/SQL, and help shape our analytics function as we scale.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.
• Experience in general insurance pricing or pricing analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data analysis.
• Ability to present technical findings to non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MGA portfolio performance and profitability.
• Develop and maintain pricing models using Earnix, Akur8 or Emblem.
• Identify market trends and adjust prices accordingly.
• Evaluate new product propositions for profitability.
• Create dashboards for underwriting reviews.
• Mentor junior analysts and support pricing leadership.
