Job summary

Lancaster University’s Division of Biomedical and Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead and motivate our technical team, overseeing deployment across research activities and ensuring safety, good lab practice and compliance.

You will build relationships with suppliers and engineers to keep instruments up-to-date, support staff and students, and foster a healthy, family-friendly working environment with flexible policies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams in research facilities.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety and compliance.
• Experience coordinating procurement and maintenance of scientific equipment.
• Ability to support staff and students to achieve research goals.
