Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment in Slough is seeking a Senior Technical Manager for a leading food manufacturer. You will own the site’s food safety, quality and technical compliance, partnering with Operations to consistently deliver standards on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in chilled, high-care or short shelf-life food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BRCGS and HACCP.
• Experience leading audits (customer, BRCGS, third-party).
• Knowledge of UK food safety legislation and compliance.
• Experience working with retailers or major foodservice customers.
• Strong leadership, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach and ability to challenge Operations.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Technical Manager to join a successful and growing food manufacturer in Slough.

Acting as the senior technical authority on site, you'll take ownership of food safety, quality, legality and compliance, working closely with Operations to maintain and continuously improve site standards.

The Role

As Senior Technical Manager, you will:

• Lead the site's food safety, quality and technical compliance agenda.
