Job summary

East Ayrshire Council in Scotland is seeking a Senior Technical & Maintenance Officer to lead a team of Technical and Maintenance Officers delivering reactive, statutory and planned maintenance across properties.

You will plan, order, verify and certify works delivered through external providers, aligning with the Asset Management Framework and the Community Plan. This permanent role at The Opera House in Killmarnock offers a 35-hour week with a salary of £43,589–£47,484.

Lead a team of Technical and Maintenance Officers providing guidance, technical support for reactive, statutory and planned maintenance of all operational and non-operational properties. Plan, order, verify, and certify both planned and reactive building maintenance works delivered through external providers. To assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Asset Management Framework and the Community Plan. .

Requirements

The Individual

This is a permanent post based at The Opera House, John Finnie Street, Killmarnock.

The hours of work are 35 to be worked as follows:-

Monday to Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm (50 minutes unpaid lunchbreak)

The annual salary for this post is between £43,589 - £47,484
