Job summary

The Flash Pack is a London-based technical production company delivering photo, video and experiential capture systems for events and installations worldwide. This Senior Technician role supports delivery, maintenance and development of our systems, with responsibility for the workshop, equipment management and purchasing, reporting to the Senior Technical Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong practical technical knowledge in photo/video capture, AV, and experiential tech.
• Good fault-finding skills with a logical approach to debugging.
• Ability to understand video signal flow and distribution equipment.
• Working knowledge of basic networking and IP addressing.
• Practical soldering skills for small electronics and cabling.

Responsibilities

• Installations: maintain permanent installations, fault-finding and upgrades.
• Support project delivery from planning through deployment and operation.
• Act as senior technical reference and escalate complex issues.
• Manage the workshop and equipment prep, testing and organisation.
• Procure equipment, manage suppliers, obtain quotes and advise on purchases.
• Share knowledge and provide training to teammates.
