Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited in Stone, Staffordshire, invites a Senior Technical Lead Engineer to drive technical design and lead substation automation projects, including testing and commissioning, across PGGA UK HUB Europe. You will report to the Lead Engineering Manager and ensure engineering deliverables meet quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in substation automation projects.
• Excellent English communication.
• Knowledge of SCADA, protection, communication protocols and networks.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead and design authority for engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate all technical activities through the project cycle, including testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with customers to shape and deliver solutions and drive improvements across HUB Europe Region.
• Prepare base design of substation automation systems, control and protection.
• Verify the implemented design within detailed design.
• Take over aspects of detailed design engineering, testing, or commissioning.
