You will contribute to our digital transformation by developing new products and enhancing existing services through software development and support for our Global Businesses and Functions.

Using leading technologies, you will execute end-to-end technology services across HSBC, including change programs and application management in production.

Overall Expectations (roles/responsibilities):

• Work with ForgeRock Directory Services, including setup, configuration, schema management, password policies, access control, and ensuring data uniqueness.
• Manage SSL certificates (LDAPs), renewals, and support middleware application configurations.
• Develop and deploy automation scripts using DevOps tools for daily operations.
• Patching and deploying Directory Services via containerized solutions with DevOps tools.
• Use JIRA/Confluence for service tickets and documentation, along with AWS cloud and Kubernetes containers.
• Engineer global-scale Application Identity Management solutions supporting millions of users across regions.
• Provide technical guidance and support (Level 2 and 3) for ForgeRock Directory Services, promoting deployment consistency through automation and configuration management.
• Create documentation for engineers and participate in crisis calls and weekend support as needed.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Experience with automation scripting (Shell, PERL, Python) and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Nexus).
• Expertise in LDAP(S), HTTP(S), SSL/TLS, Kerberos, SAML, JWT protocols and related technologies.
• Strong Linux and Unix skills.
• Experience in production support, troubleshooting LDAP issues, and vendor engagement.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management, including patching and technology updates.
• Understanding of middleware disciplines (web servers, application servers, messaging, lifecycle management).
• Familiarity with load balancers, proxy services, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), and containers.
• Experience with ForgeRock Suite components (DS, AM, IDM) and global identity management, including multi-master topologies and replication.
