My client is an international leading technical and advisory consultancy in the energy market, with over 11,000 employees across 160 offices. They are expanding their offshore wind division and are seeking talented professionals. Their services include project development, owner’s engineering, technical due diligence, and independent engineering.

Join Our Team

We are seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Consultant to join the Offshore Wind team.

Your Role

• Lead consultancy assignments in offshore wind and renewable energy, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring project delivery within time and budget constraints.
• Train and guide staff on technical due diligence, valuation, and risk management.
• Develop new business opportunities through your network.
• Prepare tenders and proposals collaboratively with department heads.
• Provide consultancy on various offshore wind topics including project development, feasibility, procurement, and construction.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and identify areas for process improvement.
• Stay informed about technological and regulatory developments affecting the sector.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in technical advisory roles within renewable energy, especially offshore wind.
• Experience in leading technical due diligence and advisory projects.
• Strong project management skills with a client-focused approach.
• Expertise in technical due diligence areas such as wind turbine technology, supply chain, or electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of offshore wind project phases.
