Job summary

WSP is seeking a Technical Director to provide senior leadership in delivering structural engineering services for major energy infrastructure projects. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and drive technical excellence and innovation within a global consultancy.

The role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements, with responsibility for overseeing complex substation, transmission and distribution, OHL structures, and power station designs while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with leadership experience in structural design.
• Experience on substations, transmission, OHL, or power stations.
• Proven ability to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design delivery for major energy infrastructure.
• Provide input on planning, resourcing and risk.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Support business development, bids and client presentations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated design.
