Job summary

Cavendish Professionals is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer to join a creative fabrication and design studio specialising in brand experiences, bespoke installations, and high‑quality retail environments. You will translate concepts into technical drawings and lead manufacturing handoffs with cross‑disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include developing CAD models, technical packs, and prototyping oversight while upholding Health & Safety standards and sustainable practices

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of SolidWorks, CAD, Fusion 360, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Understanding of 3D printing and rendering software such as Cinema 4D or Keyshot (desirable).
Strong tooling, machining, and material knowledge.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine concepts through to technical detail and presentation.
Collaborate with project management, design, and fabrication teams to optimise processes and ensure quality delivery within agreed timescales.
Oversee prototyping and production of live projects.
Provide technical project management support throughout all stages of design and manufacture.
Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety and sustainable working practices.
