Responsibilities

• Lead strategic security and IT initiatives across large-scale programs and multi-squad delivery.
• Oversee security governance, control frameworks, and alignment with standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, FCA).
• Build delivery roadmaps and executive reporting, managing dependencies across Security Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Product, and Client Delivery.
• Drive security engineering and automation to improve readiness, leverage SOAR, and reduce risk across squads.
• Present delivery updates, threat assessments, and mitigation options to senior leadership.

About the Role

The Senior Technical Delivery Manager (Security & IT) leads the execution of high-impact cybersecurity, enterprise IT, and cloud infrastructure programs across the Finova ecosystem. Operating at a strategic level, this role drives multi-squad delivery, oversees security governance, and partners closely with senior leaders across Security, Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Client Delivery, Product, and Risk & Compliance.

In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for safeguarding and scaling Finova’s platform through major security initiatives—ranging from DevSecOps integration and threat mitigation to regulatory compliance and IT modernization. You will shape Finova’s technical delivery standards, ensure cross-team alignment, drive delivery predictability, and build strong executive confidence in our security and IT delivery capability.

About you

• Large-Scale Technical Delivery: Extensive experience leading complex, multi-squad technical deliveries with a strong focus on cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or platform security initiatives.

• Security & IT Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, enterprise IT delivery, threat management, DevSecOps practices, and security architecture principles.

• Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC): Strong experience in risk management, financial forecasting, regulatory compliance, and security governance frameworks within enterprise tech environments.

• Executive Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence, present to, and align priorities with senior and executive leadership (e.g., CISO, CTO, Head of IT).

• Leadership & Coaching: Proven track record in leading, coaching, and mentoring delivery professionals, fostering skills growth in technical delivery and security operations.

• Delivery Uplift & Process Improvement: Successful history of implementing modern delivery processes (Agile/DevSecOps) that yield measurable improvements in speed, quality, and risk reduction.

What will you be doing

• Lead Strategic Security & IT Initiatives: Drive large-scale, multi-squad security and infrastructure programs—including cloud security, zero-trust architectures, threat and vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance frameworks—shaping delivery strategy and resource allocation.

• Security & IT Governance & Compliance: Oversee delivery governance, risk control frameworks, and alignment with industry security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, and FCA financial regulations).

• Cross-Functional Security Roadmap Integration: Build and maintain delivery roadmaps and executive reporting, managing dependencies across Security Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Product, and Client Delivery to ensure security is embedded into the SDLC (DevSecOps).

• Drive Security Engineering & Automation: Establish best practices for operational readiness, leveraging AI, security automation (SOAR), and threat analytics to streamline delivery, reduce risk, and optimize capacity across technical squads.

• Executive Security Risk & Delivery Reporting: Present delivery updates, threat/risk assessments, and mitigation options to senior leadership and executive stakeholders, using data-driven analysis to influence security and product roadmaps.

• Standards, Culture & Blocked Path Removal: Set delivery excellence standards for security and IT teams, removing organizational blockers, mitigating delivery risks, and fostering a strong culture of security awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
