Job summary

Finova in Manchester is seeking a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to lead high‑impact software delivery across the Finova ecosystem. You will drive multi‑squad execution, set delivery strategy, and partner with Engineering, Client Delivery, Product, Service and Sales to ensure predictable outcomes.

You will champion delivery excellence, governance, and risk controls while using data-driven analysis to inform roadmaps and executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing large-scale technical deliveries across multiple squads and components.
• Experience with delivery frameworks, governance, financial and risk management.
• Proven ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders.
• Strong leadership with coaching and mentoring to grow delivery professionals.
• Record of improving delivery processes and measurable performance uplift.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale technical initiatives across multiple squads, shaping delivery strategy and capacity planning.
• Build and maintain roadmaps, forecasting models, and executive reporting while coordinating dependencies.
• Oversee delivery governance, risk controls, and regulatory alignment.
• Drive engineering best practice, quality, and operational readiness with AI, automation, and analytics.
• Present delivery updates, risks, and options to senior leadership with data-driven analysis.
• Set standards for delivery excellence and cross-squad coordination.
