ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the Senior Technical Coordinator is to assist the Operations Director in the preparation, delivery, and coordination of production information on strategic and live projects to support all internal functions of the business. You will visit active sites in both Erith and Faversham on a weekly basis.

REQUIREMENTS

Pre-Acquisition

• Provide technical support and advice during the acquisition of new sites and development opportunities, including commissioning and preparing due diligence/technical reports.
• Research and advise on existing site constraints and abnormal site conditions that may impact design or development costs.

Planning

• Support the preparation of detailed planning applications, including technical review of schemes and advising on design suitability.
• Recommend layout optimizations to improve development areas or increase revenue.
• Provide architectural advice on design layouts and appearance.
• Pre-select external materials and commission investigative site surveys.

Implementation

• Assist in detailed design information preparation for procurement and construction, including managing consultant design teams and negotiating fees.
• Coordinate payments, set design programmes, and monitor performance.
• Lead site surveys, optimize floor plans, and advise on sustainability and environmental constraints.
• Register plots with NHBC, liaise with utility providers, and clear planning conditions.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and attend site meetings.
• Support sales with conveyancing plans, CGIs, and sales plans.
