Job summary

Manucomm Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Technical Manager / Compliance Manager for a non-factory food broker in the Trowbridge area. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with UK regulatory and industry requirements, with responsibility for technical procedures, supplier approvals and quality management.

In this office-based role, you will lead a small team, manage NPD technical aspects, and liaise with suppliers and customers' technical teams. Commutable from Bath and surrounding towns.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Technical Manager, Quality Manager or Senior Technical role.
• Strong knowledge of BRC standards and audit management.
• HACCP qualification and practical implementation experience.
• Knowledge of UK food safety legislation including packaging and retailer standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• You will need to be highly organised and analytical with strong IT skills plus be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Manage all technical procedures and processes from specification and supplier approval through to quality management compliance.
• Lead all technical aspects of new product development and liaise with suppliers and customers' technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with UK regulatory and industry requirements and manage a small team.
