Job summary

Miryco Consultants Ltd is seeking a Technical Business Analyst in London to lead analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of new features for in-house systems supporting insurance and pensions deals.

You will interact with technology and actuarial/pricing teams, manage multiple projects, and drive continuous improvement with a high degree of autonomy.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 5+ years’ experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task while monitoring deliverables and deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills – handling large data sets and cash flow models.

Job description

Miryco is working with a leading player in the insurance and pensions market.

Our client are searching for a Technical Business Analyst whose primary responsibilities include looking at new deals and the subsequent implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the companies insurance and pension systems.

You will have interaction with multiple stakeholders throughout the business, particularly with the technology and actuarial/pricing teams. The work is varied and project-based and offers a good deal of freedom and self-direction. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting the growth of a dynamic company.

The role can be summarised as:

Lead the Analysis > Design > Development > Testing > Implementation of new features and functionality to the in-house systems to accommodate new transactions and operational/actuarial efficiencies.

What the client requires:

• A high-achieving graduate with 5+ years’ work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively whilst monitoring deliverables and deadlines
• Strong Excel skills - experience of manipulating large data sets and/or creating cash flow models
• Familiarity with coding languages such as Python is advantageous
• Pensions, insurance and/or reinsurance knowledge
