Job summary

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst and Tester for the Academic Registrar’s Division. You will lead UX and QA focused work to convert business requirements into artefacts that enable project delivery and continuous improvement.

You will bring extensive BA or testing experience in large scale systems, strong communication, and collaboration skills. Hybrid working, training opportunities, and a competitive pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business analysis, testing analysis, or both in large-scale systems change.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including problem solving and clear communication.
• Experience with SITS, Salesforce, and Agile methodologies is desirable.

Senior Technical Business Analyst and Tester

(14 month fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity)

Salary from £59,949 to £68,160 pa inclusive with a potential to progress to £75,073 pa inclusive of London allowance (inclusive of a market supplement of £6,000 pa which is periodically reviewed)

We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst and Tester to join the ARD Systems team and help deliver and enhance a variety of solutions centred primarily around Salesforce and Marketing Cloud for our Lifelong Learning Service.

ARD Systems is the largest Business Led Technology team at LSE, and the largest IT development group Schoolwide. The team are responsible for three of the School’s main platforms, the Student Records System, SITS; the marketing platform, Marketing Cloud; and the enterprise platform, Salesforce. The work of the team underpins the day to day running of the School, and the School’s strategy, with the enterprise Salesforce platform a key enabler to much of the strategies successful delivery.

The postholder will lead a user experience and quality assurance centric approach to converting business requirements to artefacts required to enable project delivery and continuous improvement.

You will have extensive experience of either business analysis, testing analysis or both in the context of large scale business systems change. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills including problem solving and excellent communication skills. Experience of SITS, Salesforce, and the Agile methodology are desirable.
