Job summary

NSG Environmental Ltd is seeking a Senior Technical Author in Aldermaston to lead and develop technical documentation across the project lifecycle. The role requires DV clearance and close collaboration with Engineering and Construction teams.

The successful candidate will mentor Technical Authors, maintain templates, and ensure high-quality deliverables within project deadlines. DV clearance is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to create, develop and originate working documentation (instructions, procedures, change control).
• Experience in radiological processing / waste handling environments (4+ years).
• Copy editing of others' work to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical Author team to ensure standards are met and output is consistent.
• Bridge Engineering and Construction to ensure timely project deliverables.
• Originate and review technical documents and supporting information for client use.
• Support stakeholder engagement and provide technical input for tenders/bids as required.
• Plan the sequence of information and ensure layout follows recognised standards.
• Index and catalogue work for safe storage and retrieval.
