You will take charge of a well-established team and drive impactful changes in the way documentation supports engineering teams.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the technical publications function within a high-tech engineering company with a global presence. The company’s technical manuals have been in use for over 20 years and hold a strong legacy worldwide. As the leader of this function, you’ll have the chance to modernise and reshape documentation processes, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of engineers and customers.

While 80% of manuals are already in place, your expertise will be instrumental in problem-solving, process improvement, and driving efficiency across the business. You’ll work closely with engineers and senior leaders to enhance content quality and create a lasting impact on a large, innovative organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of technical writers, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
