Job summary

UK Home Office seeks a Technical Architect to shape, document and assure architectures for digital products and services. You will translate requirements into clear designs, assess risks and ensure security, resilience and scalability.

You will work across multidisciplinary teams, produce architecture artefacts and support delivery in agile environments, while ensuring alignment with Home Office objectives and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Contributing to the design and assurance of secure, resilient and supportable digital services.
• Producing architecture artefacts and technical designs that support delivery of secure, resilient and supportable services.
• Producing and maintaining architecture artefacts, including diagrams, assessments and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing services to identify improvement opportunities and support secure outcomes.
• Contribute to architecture by producing artefacts, evaluating options and documenting decisions, risks and dependencies.
• Support integration of new systems and cloud services with architecture diagrams and assessments.
• Take ownership of architecture activities for designated products or workstreams.
• Collaborate across teams and suppliers to identify reusable components and reduce technical debt.
