A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for a part-time role in Corsham until July 2026. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect to join a high-profile, secure digital programme on a part-time basis until July 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled architect to provide technical leadership and assurance on a project of national importance.
Location: Corsham (travel expenses covered)
Duration: Until 31 July 2026
Commitment: Part-time (30 working days total, ad hoc basis agreed with hiring manager)

Security Clearance: Must hold active DV clearance and be a sole UK national
Lead on the design and assurance of secure digital architectures with a focus on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Review and assure supplier solutions against requirements, ensuring quality and traceability.
Support the production of technical documentation and risk management activities.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to suppliers and stakeholders.
Oversee testing and validation of solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Mentor and support other architects and technical team members.
Proven expertise in Enterprise PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
Strong background in solution, business, data, and application architecture.
Experience with architectural modelling to support enterprise-level design.
Knowledge of cloud and distributed architectures.
Excellent technical leadership and communication skills.
Ability to engage across a wide range of technologies, both proprietary and open source.
Experience in secure environments, ensuring compliance with government and industry standards.
Experience with requirement traceability in complex programmes.
Prior exposure to highly sensitive or defence-related projects.
