We deliver utility-scale renewable energy projects, related infrastructure and drive industrial decarbonisation. Our projects are commercially successful, technologically advanced, and rooted in responsible development. The PEP team works closely with the investment teams at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners across the US, UK and Australian energy markets.

  • Preliminary Design
  • Create and optimize conceptual layouts using tools like AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVcase, and Helioscope.
  • Resource and Yield Assessment
  • Process data from meteorological towers or remote sensors; conduct long-term resource modelling using software such as WindPro, Windographer, and PVsyst. Ensure uptime and accuracy of measurement equipment.
  • Site Optimisation and Collaboration
  • Work with engineering and environmental teams to refine layouts and address site constraints. Incorporate feedback and global best practices into designs.
  • Technical Support
  • Coordinate with third-party consultants to provide independent resource assessment and challenge results (where appropriate). Support the development, property and grid teams with technical insights during project delivery.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare reports and maintain organized records of designs, calculations, and assumptions.

  • Proficiency with design/resource tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, WindFarmer)
  • Experience with wind/solar measurement and remote sensing preferred.
  • Familiarity with UK grid and planning regulations a plus
  • GIS experience (QGIS/ArcGIS), visualization tools (Revit), FEED and detailed design a plus
