About the Role
Leicestershire County Council is one of the best performing councils in the country. We've achieved several decades of high performances, with our success recognised by national Government, industry awards and our residents.
We are recruiting a qualified CCAB Accountant to manage the completion of the County Council's statutory financial statements. The post will also manage the fixed asset register and provide technical accounting and taxation advice to the Council. It will involve working closely with strategic finance professionals and the external auditor, and will maximise the benefit of the Oracle Fusion system and the associated reporting tools.
