Our Team :

The Alternative Investment Funds team supports Bloomberg's suite of private markets data from fund launch to liquidation, seed round to IPO, and all the data in between. Whether a fund investor, manager, or advisor, the team has the data, solutions, and industry network to help clients elevate their fund and company analysis.

What's the role :

The Alternatives Technical Account Managers are vital in delivering exceptional service and technical support to our content partners and customers. They work proactively to ensure Bloomberg is the platform of choice for content dissemination.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing outstanding support to content partners to foster trust in their valuable content
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Content Partners to develop technologies/workflows and facilitate onboarding of new data sets
  • Managing projects with multiple stakeholders to maximize efficiency and ROI
  • Collaborating with global teams of account managers, technical specialists, and product managers to understand client data needs and market trends and develop account strategies
  • Managing campaigns proactively to engage with content partners and maintain content quality and reliability
  • Leveraging business intelligence to identify trends, gaps, and areas for data acquisition and improvement in Alternative Investments

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, including exchanges, market data providers, or financial institutions
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple queries and projects
  • Understanding of capital markets and private asset investment lifecycle
  • Good interpersonal skills and desire to work directly with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred :

  • Experience using business intelligence tools to identify gaps, trends, or opportunities
  • Knowledge of IT and statistical analysis or programming (Excel, SQL, Python)
