Job summary

DWP Digital in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Tech Lead to shape engineering standards and technology strategy across multiple delivery teams. You will guide senior engineers, review designs and drive improvements across cloud, on-premises, and third-party platforms.

You will lead complex technical challenges, mentor teams, and ensure robust, scalable services are delivered in a hybrid working model with flexible hours and strong focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience of the full life cycle of cloud-based platforms and applications (AWS).
• Significant experience of version control systems and building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (git with GitLab CI or Jenkins).
• Significant experience of infrastructure-as-code and configuring code for one or more cloud providers.
• Significant experience of collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Significant experience of ensuring adherence to data security, disaster recovery and compliance standards.
• Significant experience creating engineering tooling to optimise the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Tech Lead, you will work across multiple delivery teams, setting engineering standards, influencing technology strategy and shaping critical digital services.
• You will mentor engineers, review solution designs and drive technical improvements across cloud, on-premises and third-party platforms.
