Zusammenfassung

Chubb is seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to lead growth in the UK middle-market segment, with a portfolio spanning Property & Casualty and Technology exposure, including Professional Indemnity and Cyber. You will build strong broker and client relationships, shape underwriting strategy, and mentor junior colleagues across the UK&I.

The role involves supporting portfolio management, product development, and cross-sell opportunities in a market-leading practice with Hybrid working

Qualifikationen

• Significant underwriting experience in the London insurance market.
• Strong knowledge of Technology PI and Cyber.
• Experience underwriting Commercial Property & Package and/or multinational programmes preferred.
• A proven track record of working with brokers and clients and building strong relationships.
• A results-driven approach with sound judgement, initiative and commercial awareness
• Strong communication, organisation, negotiation and presentation skills
• Experience of leadership, training, mentoring and people development
• ACII preferred but not essential

Aufgaben

• Underwriting new business and renewals in line with Chubb’s underwriting guidelines, budget and local business plan.
• Managing and developing broker and client relationships to support retention and new business growth.
• Supporting underwriting strategy, forecasts and portfolio management to deliver underwriting profitability.
• Undertaking quantitative underwriting reviews and peer reviews to support quality control and portfolio integrity.
• Working with colleagues across the UK&I to maximise cross-sell opportunities.
• Representing and promoting Chubb to brokers and clients
• Contributing to product development and client retention across Technology, PI, Cyber and Property & Casualty.
• Supporting junior colleagues through mentoring, coaching and knowledge sharing where appropriate.
