We are excited to invite applications for the role of Senior Teaching Fellow to join our dynamic teaching team in the Faculty of Medicine. In this role, you will support postgraduate and undergraduate programmes including the MSc Allergy Programme and BM5/6/EU undergraduate medicine programmes. You will work closely with the teaching team to manage and deliver both postgraduate and undergraduate education with excellence.
This position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of our programmes and ensuring an exceptional student experience that enhances our reputation. About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced educator with a PhD, postgraduate degree, or equivalent professional qualifications. You should have a proven track record of teaching at the further or higher education level and ideally a detailed knowledge of allergy. We seek a highly motivated team player to join our supportive teaching team.
About Us
The MSc Allergy Programme is a fully online course designed to help healthcare professionals, including GPs, hospital-based doctors, nurses, dietitians, and professionals in various healthcare sectors, gain a deeper understanding of allergic diseases and apply this knowledge in their daily practice. The course is an integral part of the Southampton Allergy Centre, a World Allergy Organisation Centre of Excellence.
The undergraduate BM5/6/EU programmes are in-person programmes. They include programmes designed to widen participation in medicine (BM6) and our Batchelor of Medicine European collaborative degree (BMEU).
