Job summary

Lancaster University is seeking a Senior Teaching Associate/Teaching Fellow in Business Analytics (Grade 7/8) based at Bailrigg, Lancaster, UK. The role offers a salary of £39,906 to £46,049 for full-time, indefinite with end date; appointment at grade 7 or 8 depending on qualifications and experience.

The initial contract is for one year with potential extension. You will deliver modules at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, set and mark assessments, and have protected time for

Qualifications

• Must hold an MSc and/or PhD in BA or a related discipline such as Operational Research, Management Science or Industrial Engineering.
• Some teaching experience in Further or Higher Education.
• Expertise in statistics, data mining, machine learning, stochastic modelling, forecasting or simulation would be welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver part or all of BA-related modules at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, and be involved in setting and marking assessments.
• Be allocated time to conduct scholarship activities.
