Job summary

The Rowan School is looking to appoint a senior teaching assistant Level 3 to start as soon as possible. You will enjoy working with children and collaborating with classroom staff, with lunchtime supervision and support in the classroom.

Experience with Special Educational Needs, for example autism, is preferred. Training in relevant learning/behaviour strategies will be provided. Candidates should demonstrate a calm, friendly, and positive approach and a commitment to a caring school community.

The school is looking to appoint a senior teaching assistant Level 3 to start as soon aspossible who enjoys working with children and working in a teamalongside classroom staff. The post involves lunchtime supervision and supportin the classroom.

This postrequires taking an interest in each child, encouraging their development andensuring their safety. Candidates needto have calm, friendly and positive approaches.

Previous experience of working withchildren with Special Educational Needs e.g. Autism is preferred althoughtraining in relevant learning/behaviour strategies will be provided asnecessary. Candidates should be able todemonstrate a commitment to being part of a caring school community.
