Qualifications

• Provide short term cover and plan/ deliver activities with pupils.
• Deliver well-structured learning activities and assess pupil progress.
• Support teaching and learning in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Provide short term cover or classes in planned or unexpected non-timetabled situations including PPA cover.
• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities with individual pupils, groups and whole classes.
• Assess, record and report on pupil progress under the direction of a Teacher.
• Support teaching and learning in the classroom and demonstrate high standards of practice.
• Be responsive and flexible to pupils' differing needs, including SEND.
• Deliver well structured interventions and communicate effectively.
• Use ICT competently in classroom practice and for professional work.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with the school community.
• Work flexibly with a commitment to continuity and quality of education.
