Job summary

Marland Primary School is seeking a Senior Teaching Assistant to support learners across the school. This role involves working with classroom teachers, supervising classes when needed, and delivering targeted phonics interventions on a 1:1 basis.

Training and ongoing professional development opportunities are offered to all staff, with potential promotion as the school expands. For an informal discussion, contact the Learning Support Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting phonics and early literacy in primary settings.
• Ability to plan and deliver small-group and one-to-one interventions.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Help learners stay regulated and happy in school, inside or outside the classroom.
• Undertake occasional cover supervision of whole classes as required.
• Plan, deliver and report on phonics interventions for individuals.

Job description

This support may occur inside or outside the classroom in collaboration with Classroom teachers, to help all learners stay regualted and happy in school.

As a member of the Senior TA Team to undertake occasional cover supervision of whole classes as / if required. Also, you will be required to plan, deliver and report on, individual phonics interventions on a 1:1 basis.

Training and ongoing professional development opportunities are offered to all staff, as are potential promotion opportunities due to the ongoing expansion of our popular schools.
