Job summary

eTeach UK Limited seeks a Senior Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. You will deliver specialist interventions and support pupils with diverse needs, and lead whole-class sessions in the teacher's absence.

You will work under guidance, collaborate with staff, and contribute to ongoing professional development while maintaining safeguarding standards and school policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with additional needs.
• Specialist knowledge in one or more intervention areas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist interventions and support pupils with a range of needs.

• Represent the school positively within the community.

• Develop expertise in areas such as SCERTS, Intensive Interaction, Team Teach, SALT, OT strategies, and sensory impairments.
• Stay up to date with school communications and contribute to the school’s development.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team. You will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to deliver agreed programmes to individuals and groups, both in and out of the classroom. This role requires detailed and specialist knowledge in key areas and includes leading whole classes in the absence of both the Teacher and Assistant Teacher.
