What you’ll doThe Senior Tax Manager is an essential member of the corporate finance team, responsible for managing tax-related matters for Vodafone’s commercial shared services organisation. The role focuses on developing and implementing transfer pricing strategies, managing tax audits and controversies, business
partnering, ensuring compliance, and reporting to headquarters.
This role demands a deep understanding of Vodafone’s shared services and the dynamics of operating from various service locations and providing services to multiple group companies across the globe.
This role requires strong relationships across the organisation, operating in a matrix structure, to drive optimal collaboration and alignment.
-Business Partnering: Working closely with commercial, finance, HR, legal, and other departments to provide tax advice
-Tax Risk Management: Identifying and managing tax risks associated with business operations and transactions and implementing strategies to mitigate those risks
-Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensuring complies and all tax obligations, including submission of corporate tax returns, indirect tax returns and transfer pricing documentation for all the entities with accuracy and within the statutory deadline
-Tax Reporting and Forecasting: Preparing and analysing tax provisions, tax forecasting and disclosures for statutory reporting and reporting to headquarters
-Expertise in either transfer pricing or UK corporation tax regulations
-Experience in Big 4 or in-house tax team of a multinational company
-High level of commercial acumen and ability to identify and solve varied business problems
-Ability to manage first time situations
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Ability to influence with collaboration
-Degree in Taxation / Qualified Accountant-ACA/CIMA/ACCA/MBA Or equivalent
-Strong understanding of International Taxation, Corporate Tax, VAT/Sales Taxes and Transfer Pricing
