We are delighted to be working with a market-leading transactions tax team who are looking to appoint a Senior Tax Manager to play a key role in the design, structuring, and delivery of equity and share incentive planning for high-growth businesses.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team at the forefront of tax structuring in transactions. You'll be working directly with C-suite executives of privately-owned and Private Equity-backed businesses, as well as with PE houses and potential acquirers - so high-level client interaction will be a core part of the role from day one.
You'll support businesses through the lifecycle of their growth and exit, advising on:
The design and implementation of new share incentive plans (both tax-advantaged such as EMI and non-tax-advantaged arrangements).
The restructuring of existing plans, especially where companies may no longer qualify for schemes like EMI.
Transactions involving employee shareholders, ensuring optimal tax treatment and securing available reliefs.
Commercial alignment of management and investor interests through effective equity structuring.
This is a highly commercial and technically stimulating role, ideal for someone looking to gain first-hand experience advising at board level and across a wide variety of transaction scenarios.
CTA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong background in employment tax, share schemes, or broader transaction tax.
A confident communicator with strong client-facing experience and a passion for solving complex tax issues.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Committed to coaching and developing junior team members.
Keen to build a long-term career in a high-performing, supportive team.
Front-line exposure to transactions and senior decision-makers.
Opportunities to develop both your technical and commercial skill set.
A clear and structured path for career progression.
A flexible and inclusive working environment with hybrid working options.
