We are seeking your experience as a qualified tax professional to oversee the management of the global tax compliance, tax accounting, and reporting obligations of UK, Jersey, and Luxembourg domiciled real estate funds, which collectively hold a gross asset value of £8 billion, primarily focused on UK property investments.

Your responsibilities include providing tax support for new product launches, fund mergers, and change initiatives, ensuring implementation of external advisor recommendations into robust BAU procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and coordinate the preparation and submission of UK tax returns, VAT returns, and other UK-specific filings.
2. Oversee tax filings for Jersey and Luxembourg entities, collaborating with external tax providers.
3. Review and question draft tax filings and information provided to investors.
4. Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with changing laws and regulations.
5. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities, including HMRC.
6. Support tax reporting, audits, and project initiatives such as fund mergers and new product launches.
7. Ensure adherence to Columbia Threadneedle Investments’ tax policies and strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• CTA qualified with solid post-qualification experience in tax (industry or practice).
• Experience with UK property investment funds and related tax compliance.
• Knowledge of tax reporting, accounting standards, and VAT principles.
• Familiarity with Jersey and Luxembourg fund structures is desirable.
