Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Tax Manager - Private Clients to join our client's Private Client Services team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, non-domiciled individuals, and trusts. This role involves delivering high-quality compliance services and providing advisory support on a range of personal tax matters. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns.
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, non-domiciled individuals, and trusts.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and provide proactive advice to clients.
  • Review work prepared by junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of relevant developments.
  • Assist in business development activities, including preparing proposals and attending client meetings.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, ATT qualified and/or CTA qualified or part-qualified.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in personal tax within a practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation, including experience with non-domiciled individuals and trusts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Additional Requirements
ATT qualified and/or CTA qualified or part-qualified. Minimum of 3 years' experience in personal tax within a practice environment. Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation, including experience with non-domiciled individuals and trusts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
