Qualifications

• CIOT membership/qualification – essential.
• At least 5 years' post-qualified experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong corporate and personal tax experience.
• Senior, client-facing position experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients.
• Lead complex tax advisory assignments and provide commercially focused advice.
• Advise on corporate restructurings, acquisitions, disposals, succession planning, CGT, IHT and property taxation.
• Review and sign off complex tax computations and returns.
• Lead client meetings and provide clear, practical tax guidance.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and support strategic business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to introduce and cross-sell the firm's services.
• Prepare proposals and assist with winning new clients.
• Mentor and develop tax team members; deliver training.
