TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Accountancy Practice Tax Manager on behalf of our highly reputable and growing client based in Worthing & Brighton. Our client is one of the most respected firms of chartered accountants in Sussex; they boast a fantastic reputation and have an exciting client base made up of clients within the entertainment sector.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Producing reports and letters of advice for various tax advisory issues (see below)
  • Overseeing HMRC correspondence including clearance applications and enquiries etc.
  • Liaising with clients and attending meetings with partners
  • Training and reviewing the work of junior members of the staff
  • Assisting partners with developing and monitoring processes

Examples of tax projects you may be involved with:

  • Advice and implementation of corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS, staff incentive schemes
  • Advising owner-managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planning, CGT, and IHT mitigation
  • Reviewing complex corporation tax computations and returns
