Our client's Private Client Team works with individuals, trustees, partnerships, sole traders and family businesses in managing their tax affairs both on the compliance side and in relation to additional advisory matters.

This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, commercially driven, and passionate about client service, business development, and team leadership.

What your day will look like:

Client & Relationship Management

• Actively manage and develop existing client relationships.
• Serve as the first point of contact for potential and new clients.
• Generate and convert new business opportunities with the support of Directors and Partners.

Technical Advisory & Project Leadership

• Lead on tax advisory and technical projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Work with Partners and colleagues on strategic tax planning and technical assignments.
• Provide specialist tax advice to a diverse portfolio of private clients.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth.
• Review work, provide feedback, and oversee training and development in collaboration with the Talent Development Team.
• Ensure an inclusive and positive team culture, in line with the firm's values.
• Build relationships across all departments to ensure seamless client service.
• Brief and support junior staff on client engagements and pre-assignment instructions.
• Provide on-the-job training, supervising and overseeing the completion of work.

What we’re looking for:

• CTA and/or ACA qualified, or suitably qualified-by-experience.
• Strong understanding and practical experience of the tax issues relating to a range of private clients.
• Proven experience in client handling and project management.
• Ability to lead advisory projects resulting in high quality reports within budget.
• Experience managing a portfolio of personal tax compliance and advisory projects whilst being confident at developing and maintaining relationships internally and externally.
• An interest in mentoring and developing junior members of staff.
