Job summary

Collective Concepts Accounting is seeking a driven Senior Tax Manager to join the leadership team in Brighton. You will oversee personal tax returns, complex advisory work, and mentor staff, shaping the future of our tax services for high-net-worth clients, crypto investors, and non-doms.

You will work closely with founders and directors, delivering strategic tax guidance, and managing client relationships within a flexible hybrid setup. ACCA/ACA/CTA qualifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Chartered Tax Advisor with 2 years post-qualification, or 10 years' experience.
• Strong experience managing diverse personal tax portfolios.
• Expertise in crypto tax, CGT, non-resident and non-dom rules, and HNW structures.
• Experience preparing or reviewing R&D claims or willingness to upskill quickly.
• Excellent technical knowledge with clear client communication.
• Proactive workflow management, deadlines and problem solving.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and timely submission of private client personal tax returns.
• Prepare and review complex high-net-worth tax returns, including crypto and CGT cases.
• Manage tax consulting function and deliver strategic advisory work.
• Provide expert tax advice on personal tax, CGT, residence, domicile and crypto tax.
• Review computations prepared by junior/mid-level staff.
• Lead tax planning projects at personal and corporate levels.
• Support HMRC enquiries and technical queries as required.
• Mentor, train, and develop tax and accounting teams.
