Job summary

Recruitment Solutions (North West) Ltd is recruiting a Senior Tax Accountant to join our client’s established accountancy practice. You will manage a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate tax matters, provide specialist advice and contribute to team success.

You'll be expected to keep HMRC up to date, mentor junior staff, and support business planning for clients while pursuing professional qualifications where appropriate. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate taxation.
• Experience managing a portfolio of tax clients.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proactive and commercially minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and self-assessment computations.
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and CT600 returns.
• Advising clients on tax planning opportunities and tax efficiencies.
• Providing advice on capital gains tax, inheritance tax and other relevant tax matters.
• Reviewing tax returns and computations prepared by junior members of the team.
• Ensuring HMRC deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.
• HMRC enquiries handling and resolving queries.
• Mentoring junior team members.
