About the role

We are recruiting a Strategic Senior Talent and Development Partner to support our Places Leisure business as a Centre of Excellence. To be successful, you must be within a 60-minute commute of Preston, Derby, Bristol, or London, with regular travel required.

We seek a dynamic professional to partner with senior leaders, implementing and delivering our talent and development strategy, focusing on mapping, developing, and mobilizing talent across Places Leisure and the wider PfP business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to create and implement talent and development strategies.
  • Map, develop, and move talent across the organization.
  • Implement learning, leadership, and development initiatives; support managers in team development and career growth.
  • Ensure the workforce has the right skills at the right time; support building a customer service-oriented culture.
  • Collaborate with People departments to align processes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in a partnering role delivering talent, development, or HR initiatives as a centre of excellence.
  • Experience creating engaging, inclusive training materials.
  • Ability to coach and facilitate learning for senior stakeholders.
  • Track record delivering strategic projects with measurable impact.
  • Strong leadership and line management skills, leading a team of three.
  • Autonomous working style balancing multiple key areas.
  • Data-driven approach to people development solutions.
