Senior Talent & Development Partner (12 month FTC)

More about your role

We are recruiting a Strategic, Senior Talent and Development Partner to support our Places Leisure business as a Centre of Excellence. To be successful, you must be within a 60-minute commute of our main office locations: Preston, Derby, Bristol, or London. Regular travel will be required.

We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to partner with senior business leaders and leadership teams to implement and deliver our talent and development strategy, focusing on mapping, developing, and moving talent across Places Leisure and the wider PfP business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior business leaders to create, implement, and deliver our talent and development strategy.
  • Map, develop, and move talent across Places Leisure and the wider PfP business.
  • Implement strategic learning, leadership, talent, and development initiatives. Support managers to develop their teams across personal, professional, technical, and career development areas.
  • Ensure our workforce has the right skills at the right time, supporting management to build a customer service-oriented culture.
  • Work closely with People departments and centres of excellence to align and integrate people processes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in a partnering role delivering talent, development, learning, leadership, organisational design, or HR as a centre of excellence.
  • Experience in creating engaging, inclusive training materials to develop capabilities.
  • Ability to coach and facilitate learning for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading strategic projects with measurable impact and ROI.
  • Strong leadership and line management experience leading a team of three.
  • Ability to work autonomously across business partnering, coaching, strategic projects, and line management.
  • Data and analytics skills to drive results-oriented people development solutions.
